Understanding pH
pH measures acidity/alkalinity on a scale of 0-14. Most hydroponic plants thrive at pH 5.5-6.5. At incorrect pH, plants cannot absorb nutrients even if they're present (nutrient lockout). pH naturally drifts over time as plants consume nutrients.
